FAQ
Do you accept insurance?
I am not currently on any insurance panels, but I can provide a superbill/receipt which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Do you have a sliding scale?
I have a limited number of slots for sliding scale services. These spots are currently reserved for people experiencing financial hardship and who are unable to afford the full fee. When determining whether you can pay my fee, please click the link below, for more on sliding scale & economic justice: https://www.ridefreefearlessmoney.com/blog/2016/05/sliding-scale-1/ and https://www.wortsandcunning.com/blog/sliding-scale
Do you work with people outside of California & Florida?
Due to federal regulations, I am only able to offer services to California & Florida residents.
What will our consultation and first session look like?
Finding a good match as your therapist is essential to effective therapy. During your consultation, you can ask me questions and learn about my therapeutic approach, in order to see if we are a good fit. If either of us feels like we are not a good match, I will help you in finding a referral. If we decide to move forward together, our first session will be a comprehensive assessment of you, your life experiences, and your goals for therapy.
Is therapy confidential?
Everything said in therapy is confidential unless you present as a danger to yourself or others, or report child or elder abuse.
